Weight based shipping per order

Example 4.7. Weight based shipping per order

Most of the store owners would be collecting shipping charges based on the product weight. This example will show you how to set it up in k2store

[Note]Note

This example assumes that you have a store in Texas, USA. You ship products to three regions = Within Texas, Other States in USA and to Europe. You want to charge shipping rates as below:

Within Texas : 1 to 100 KG = $5 dollars; 101 to 200kg = $7 dollars; 201 to 500 kg = $15 dollars

Other States in USA : 1 to 100 KG = $25 dollars; 101 to 200kg = $35 dollars; 201 to 500 kg = $45 dollars

Europe : 1 to 100 KG = $65 dollars; 101 to 200kg = $75 dollars; 201 to 500 kg = $85 dollars

Let us see how to set up these shipping rates in K2Store

You will see a dropdown list of countries.
Choose USA. A list of zones will appear.
Choose all the states one by one and add them (Except Texas. Because we already assigned it to another geozone)
      Click Save and Close.

    4. Click New button again to create a European geozone
Enter the Geozone name as Europe
Click Save (DO NOT click Save and Close. We are not done yet).
